About RimRoom
RimRoom is tyre storage software made by people who store tyres themselves.
Built in a real workshop. Made for yours.

The story behind RimRoom
Hi, I’m Attila, the founder of RimRoom and the owner of an independent automotive workshop in Hungary.
I didn’t start out wanting to build software. I just wanted to make my workshop run better.
Like many tyre shops, we store our customers’ seasonal wheels and tyres. And as the number of stored sets grows, something that sounds incredibly simple becomes surprisingly complicated.
Where exactly is that customer’s set? Are the tyres in good condition? How much storage space do we have left? And why does finding four wheels sometimes take longer than changing them?
These are small problems. But when you’re running a busy workshop, small problems add up. They cost time, interrupt your team and create unnecessary stress.
I wanted something simple. A system that would tell us exactly what we had, where it was and who it belonged to. Something my team could actually use during a busy working day.
That’s how RimRoom started.
Not in a Silicon Valley office, but in a working tyre shop, dealing with real customers, real tyres and real everyday challenges.
Today, we use RimRoom to manage our own tyre storage operation. It’s built around what actually matters: finding the right set quickly, keeping accurate records and making seasonal tyre changes run more smoothly.
My philosophy is simple: software should make your work easier, not become another job.
I’m not trying to build a complicated system that runs every part of your business.
I want RimRoom to do one thing exceptionally well: make tyre storage simple, organised and stress-free.
Because I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the screen.
And I believe every workshop deserves tools that genuinely make life easier.

Why RimRoom exists
RimRoom grew out of daily tyre storage work at ProAuto Kft., a car service in Hungary. It was built to make one job reliable: knowing exactly whose tyres are where, in what condition, and when they go back to the customer.
How ProAuto uses it today
At ProAuto, RimRoom is the everyday tool for tyre storage: sets are recorded at intake, labelled with QR codes, placed on a shelf and released from the same record.
